I am not the one that called it a Dogbox, because its NOT a Dogbox. As you can see in the video how he use it, how long it takes to shift and even the layout of the pattern.

There are both full and partial dog gears, depending on synchronicity in some of the gears or not (usually the fist 2 or 3)

Yes it is a dogbox, the website where the video is from has the stats on it, it’s an HKS 6 speed dogbox, there are no synchros on gears 1-4…
Dogbox tranny’s are available in H patterns.

He just isn’t using it correctly.

Not DOGBOX

On top of that, a HKS gearbox is just a CHEAP copy of the Holinger gearbox they have bought a reproduction licens for.

Holinger delivers all their gearboxes as REGULAR shifter - not dogbox shifter

Just listen to it.. its not a dogbox. Its a regular straight cut gearbox.

it is a dog box.
hks 6 speed. hks had 2 different 6 speed dog boxes out in the market the first with their own parts and the latest utilising hollinger parts. yes no synchros. you can dog boxes in various layouts. standard h pattern, sequential etc.
