My motor alone is costing me 15-20k and it’s a somewhat sedate build.. oiling system on this alone is worth 10k, box 7k, motor 20k, fuel few k, interior + dash few k, wheels + brakes + tires 8k+ ,,,
this is an old video, they eventually give it full carbon doors, and got rid of the headlights and put in blank plastic covers, to top of it i dont think its street legal anymore, they have a newer video from ignition on the gtr special.
islandfd3s what have you done to get yours to 1320kg which is minor.. Mines of the road for a few more months.. preparing it for track next year,, not going over board on weight reduction as i want it to look like a street package.. so far for the list.. no air con, attessa, boot, ditch the rear wiper motor and few little tricks here and there.. can you give us a insight of what you have done?

mine was 1380 when it went over the weightbridge with 3/4 tank fuel no lightweight mods, and its a 94 . so seems about right!, cheers
R32’s are not “light” but they are “the lightest of the modern, AWD GTR’s”
btw, they’re not exactly “super heavy” either - 1430kg isn’t that bad, mine is down to 1320kg (2900lb!) with minor weight reduction. I weighed it.
Compare that with the new R35 GTR, 997 turbo, etc - or even against its contemporaries, the MKIII supra, etc - it’s not a heavy car.
any gtr owner will happily admit a stock gtr is not light…

You could buy damn near everything but engine mangement from NISMO to make any power figure you wan’t except turbines above N1

What does it matter. The machine is a beast.
