why do they continue to revv the engine after the dyno has finished? is it just like when you run for a long time you have to walk it off to cool down?
The propshaft runs parallel the length of the chassis. The driveshafts go from the front differential out to the wheels. If you just take out the front propshaft, then no fluid will leak. If you take out the driveshafts, you will hurt the bearings. If the boots are torn, fix them. Its about $10 each to get them fixed.
If you ever want to switch it back to all wheel drive the fastest way to make it rear wheel drive is to pull the fuse and remove the front propshaft.Watch my video on ATTESA.
hey what do you mean take the awd fuse and pull the front propshafts out? Wont that leak out all the tranny fluid? Please give me some info on this as I have a gtr and I need to replace both fron driveshafts because of ripped cv boots and I was thinking of making it rwd is posible but I thought I would need a rb25 tranny, if you could help me on this that would be great!
I giv u an A+ 4 this coment, this is so tru coz people who dont noe shit bout automotive engineering talk bout wat they see rather den wat dey noe, all dey do ish just comment on things wen dey relly dont noe how much tyme and effort a person had put on a project.
Of course. But as most people ’should’ know (all you guys with all the relevant knowledge, lol) it’s a fact. Wiki is just an easy way to find the fact. And that article has citations. I wouldn’t post an article without a citation in a debate.
yea but theres only fuck all on wikipedia thats not certified, its based on what people wrote in. as most of it will be true, theres still the odd chance that some articles…the truth has been ‘bent’ a little. so you never know unless you read the brochue aye hahaha
“When slip is detected on one of the rear wheels (rear wheels turn 5% or more than the front wheels), the system directs torque to the front wheels which run a viscous LSD. Rather than locking the AWD in all the time or having a system that is “all or nothing”, the ATTESA-ETS system can apportion different ratios of torque to the front wheels as it sees fit.”

That’s mostly the earlier years. Also they were known for shearing the keyway on the oil pump, again fixed in later years or with some machining and a JUN oil collar. Granted, as with any engine, high RPMs will shorten it’s lifespan but I don’t anticipate a catastrophic engine failure if the car is warmed up, oil changed, timing belt in good shape, etc…
Some people rev them higher. Its just the higher you rev it, the shorter amount of time between rebuilds. They are cam on bucket with solid shims. Short stroke - 73.7mm. They like revs.
A GTR is only AWD when it detects traction loss. other then that its a RWD car. You can however Remove the ATTESSA ETS Fuse and it will drive just like a RWD.

Godzilla is alive …Sweet …

Wow. I agree with what you’re saying but you should have spelled the words correctly.
???

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
GTR’s are RWD that becomes AWD under pressure. It’s like a lazy ass man that becomes a wrestler when there’s fire
you play video games too much
You can make a switch if you want. You can pull the 4WD fuse. Or you can do what I do, 4WD fuse and pull the front propshaft out. Thats the safe way.
1 bar = 14.5037744 psi.
Wikipedia bud. Start reading it. (And yes, it’s cited, in-case you were going to give me the whole ‘Wiki can be wrong’ argument)
To think you were trying to correct me below as well ;>

Next argument platform plz.

1 bar is closer to 12.7 bruh.
wrong……

wrong…..
gtr is awd when under load, not when traction is broken. put your foot down with the fuze in and it will feed power to the front diff….
abs also cancels attessa
they like to rev but rb26’s have mega oiling issues………… over 8 grand excessively and you can almost bet it will oil surge and blow…..

That run was about 16 psi. Around 1.1 bar.
i didnt know they can rev that high
psi is 14.7 i think if its 1 bar
its a GTR people it can be rear wheel drive or all wheel drive if you have 4wd mechanical switch you can control the ATTESA system
A GTR is only AWD when it detects traction loss. other then that its a RWD car. You can however Remove the ATTESSA ETS Fuse and it will drive just like a RWD.
NO no no no no its ok man. That just means more fun raping those people who think they will win.
